"My Room" Update

So I worked on cleaning and organizing all my stuff untik 2:30 this morning!  You cant tell that anything is different but I did make some progress! I started back for about 2 hours today.  l discovered I cant buy another red sweater for a long as I live! I have way too many. Lol!  I did find some pants and a sweater dress I forgot I had so I did come up with something new!  One of my biggest challenges is figuring out how to store/organize my handbags in a way that they are easily accessible and dont take uo too much space.  Whatever I come up with I will definitely share here!  So much to do, so little time!

Reorganizing MY room!

Lord if I posted a pic of MY room, I cant imagine what ya'll would think of me! Lol!  To say its a hot mess is an understatement! Now let me explain. MY room is a space that I sharewith me, myself and I. Even though the home I live in is nearly 3000 square feet, there are very few walls and not nearly as many rooms or storage spaces as I would like.  So very little of the house has my imprint on it.  Almost all of my belongings are in MY room.  Which means my sewing machines and crafting tools are in there along with all my fabric and repurposing materials, almost all my hair tools, most of my shoes, clothes, handbags, luggage/totes, keepsakes, photos, cards, stationary/office supplies, gifts, holiday/seasonal decor, books, cd's, you name it!  I started working on getting it cleaned out and organized
( so I can actually find my winter clothes) Saturday.  I did get one end of the closet cleared out but still have a LONG way to go! Im about to head back up there and see what I can accomplish by midnight! Wish me luck!

How to clean your bed pillows

How to clean your bed pillows
This is one of many things ive pinned or tried on Pinterest. I washed my pillows using this method a few weeks ago and my pillows came out great!  I added dry towels to the dryer to help the pillows dry faster but it still took a few days of air drying for me to be certain they were completely dry.  Give this a try over the holiday and post your results!

Embarking on a Reconstructed Life

Ever heard the saying, "Everyday is a day to start over?"  Well I believe in that wholeheartedly.  No matter what hand life has dealt you, everyday that you're alive and breathing is a day to start over.  You don't have to repeat the mistakes of the day before.  Open up your mind to learning and experiencing new things and open your heart to feeling the love that is all around you.  Don't allow yourself to be swallowed up by bitterness and anger.  As they say, living well is the best revenge!  And when you're living well, experiencing the fullness of life and loving yourself, you don't even have time to worry about revenge.  So when things don't seem to be going your way and you're faced with challenges that seem impossible to conquer, reconstruct your life.  It's not nearly as hard as it seems!  Re-evaluate your priorities and the things that give you the most joy.  Learn something new, try a new hobby, make some new friends.  Find your happy place inside you!  If you're constantly working on reconstructing your life, there are no limits to what you can do and you won't ever be bored!
